A sneak peek...

Happy Friday!!
Here is a sneak peek at some of the projects I have been working on and of a few of the (hundreds) of items that will be offered at the sale in a few weeks.  I have been keeping very busy pricing, packing and painting lots of handmade and vintage finds.

These 2 jewelery holders\hangers turned out better than I had anticipated.  I just love them.

I should have cropped this photo prior, so please look at the small table on the right for the before photo. This table was found on the side of the road by our friends, Lu & Clem.

After:

I have trained Jay well.  He found these two antique trivets all by himself at the local thrift store.  He was so very proud of himself when he found these and then to show me his finds.  He even did research on them and was unable to find anything to compare them to online.  This one is rather large and has an 'L' monogram. They have nice brown felt underneath.

Have a wonderful weekend!
I will be fitting in a Second birthday party for my niece, Kate and dinner at a friends house on Sunday.  In between that i will be busy trying to cross a few more things off the long list to finish in 19 days.  The countdown is on.

Martha would be proud

Yes, Martha would be proud.
Yesterday I spent 10 hours painting, sanding and waxing furniture.
It was fun and felt very productive. I was however not very good at snapping photos.  I was in the groove, Pandora radio, Iced Coffee, leftover pulled pork sliders for lunch, Jay running to Home Depot for more spray paint and sanding blocks. Josie was at work all day and returned in the evening with my favorite sub, what a darling.

I did however manage to snap a before, during and after photo of this little project.

Before: Small vintage child's chair

I used the Silhouette to cut out the stencil.
Then I painted with Federal Blue, let dry and sanded to make it look like it had been on there for a long time.

After: I applied a coat of Minwax finishing paste and we are now finished.

What do you think?

We took Josie's friend home today, (just so we could stop by her goodwill) sick I know.

Jay found this cute little set and 2 vintage books.  One is in french the other is german. Perfect for some upcoming projects.

Yes another old wooden ironing board.
Found this at an estate sale today for half off.

Score!!
Pottery Barn pillows with down inserts and there are 5 of them!
