My favorite 4th tradition is just being with family. Ok, and ice cold watermelon.
Being with my kids. And showing them the memories I had growing up in the military. Going and decorating grave sites talking about heroism, having each kid decked out n the right motif. Then bringing it all together with bbq, fireworks, the sousa orchestra n the background and feeling freedom and happiness thru the eyes of youth :-)
Our favorite, and somewhat new, 4th of July tradition is to take our sailboat out on Commencement Bay to watch the airshow and fireworks. It's a whole day of eating, sunshine (hopefully), and merriment. Thanks for the chance to win all these great items.

My fav tradition is kickball on 4th of July. My friends do it every year :)
Going up to our lake place and having a big BBQ with the family :)
My favorite tradition was getting togehter with friends for a Bar-B-Que and Bocce Ball, but then last year our first grandchild was born on the 4th so I have a feeling our traditions will be changing.
Every year we get together at my grandparents house to celebrate my great grandmas birthday. She was born on the 4th of July. This year is her big 90th! So every year we have lots of food and a big firework show. :)
Watching fireworks with my hubby. That's my favorite.
My favorite 4th tradition is watching my kids watch the fireworks, every year they get a little more brave.... but still stick to my side :) and this year hopefully we'll be starting a new tradition of making some 4th crafts :)
My favorite tradition is the whole family coming to my Mother-in-Law's house and watching the parade through the neighborhood. It's a fun filled family event. Then we all walk down to The Cove for the neighborhood 4th of July Party, then everyone heads to Grandma's house for fireworks. Just a great, family, day!
Love a good fireworks display.
Eating ice cream! We don't seem to have a consistent tradition other than that. :) Not even watching fireworks! We've moved, been other places, etc.
My favorite tradition is being with friends and family, a low key, casual thing! And there is usually a neighborhood block party.
