Our power went out last night and was just restored at 10 a.m.
As soon as it was back on I cranked up the heat, washed the dishes in the sink, made a large pot of coffee for Jay and charged the phone. Let's cross our fingers that it will stay on. Jay and I went outside this morning to look around, a few branches down, everything covered in a thinck sheet of ice, car still has about six inches of snow and a half inch of ice on top of that. This has been a long week but relaxing. I actually miss my daily routine, work and goodwill.
